Meltwater hires new regional Talent Acquisition Head to support further growth


Alissa Sargeant has been appointed as the new Head of Talent Acquisition (APAC) at leading media monitoring and social analytics platforms Meltwater.

Sargeant is a highly experienced HR professional with two decades of experience in senior regional roles at technology firms across Asia Pacific and Japan. Before joining Meltwater, she was Talent Acquisition Leader and HR Business Partner for global IT firm NCR Corporation, where she brought a strong people focus to recruitment across all business divisions.

In keeping with Meltwater’s focus on technology to drive decision making, Sargeant and her Talent Acquisition team will analyse key recruitment metrics to identify areas of improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to improve outcomes.

Meltwater recently unveiled its industry-first unified Paid, Earned & Owned dashboard, following its acquisition of DeepReason.ai.

Meltwater’s technology currently captures content from more than 270,000 global news sources, social media platforms, forums, blogs, print publications, broadcasts, and podcasts. Over 800 million pieces of new content are processed every day, with more news sources continually added.
