Index Exchange APAC MD Adele Wieser appointed as Chair of the IAB Executive Technology Council


IAB Australia announced today that Adele Wieser, Regional Managing Director, APAC, Index Exchange, has been appointed as the Chair of its Executive Technology Council (ETC) effective immediately. Wieser, who has replaced Angus Keene, will also become the ETC representative on the IAB Australia board.

The IAB Executive Technology Council was launched in 2017 to take full advantage of the IAB’s scale, competencies, and member base to identify and address critical issues in advertising technology innovation. It has four main priority projects for 2023: supporting IAB’s successful mentorship program; assisting the industry prepare for privacy changes and signal loss; continuing cross industry work on programmatic transparency as well as continuing to support the work of other IAB councils and provide technical support for the IAB Board.

The ETC includes representatives from media and technology companies including Carsales, Cartology, DoubleVerify, Google, Index Exchange, InMobi, Integral Ad Science, Magnite, Microsoft Advertising, News Corp, Nine, Pinterest, PlaygroundXYZ, PubMatic, Quantcast, REA, Seven, Spotify, The Guardian, The Trade Desk, Twitter, Xandr and Yahoo!
